Terms of Use
Last updated · 15 April 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of lightmountainadvisory.com, including all public content, the Zayd chat assistant, and — where you are authorised — the LMA Intelligence platform (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by LightMountain Advisory (“LMA”), a boutique financial advisory firm based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Nature of the Services
The Services describe LMA’s advisory capabilities, team, and indicative experience. They are informational in nature. Access to this website does not create an advisor–client relationship between you and LMA. A mandate is established only through a written engagement letter signed by an authorised LMA partner.
2. Not regulated financial, legal, or tax advice
Content on the Services — including case studies, insights, AI-generated explanations, and any material produced by the Zayd chat assistant — is for general information only. It is not investment advice, financial product advice, credit advice, legal advice, or tax advice. It does not constitute an offer or solicitation to buy, sell, or subscribe to any security, financial instrument, or capital product.
LMA is not a licensed credit provider or investment bank. Our corporate advisory work is professional business-to-business advisory activity and falls outside the scope of retail-facing regulated financial services licensing. If your jurisdiction requires a specific licence or regulatory relationship for the services you need, we will tell you so before we engage.
3. Eligibility
The Services are intended for business principals, executives, professional investors, regulators, financial institutions, and service-provider counterparts. You represent that you are acting in a professional capacity and are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
4. Internal platform (LMA Intelligence)
The /intelligenceplatform is a private tool reserved for LMA partners, advisors, and authorised team members. Access is gated by a passphrase issued at LMA’s sole discretion. Unauthorised access is prohibited and may be unlawful.
Outputs produced by the internal platform (deal triage memos, teasers, lender shortlists, restructuring playbooks) are preliminary working drafts intended for partner review. They are not final client deliverables and must be reviewed, revised, and signed off by an LMA partner before any external distribution.
5. Confidentiality
If you share information with LMA in the context of a potential mandate, LMA will treat that information as confidential and handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and customary boutique-advisory standards of discretion.
Conversely, information you obtain about LMA — including proprietary frameworks, methodologies, client references, or lender relationships — is confidential and may not be reproduced, disclosed, or used to compete with LMA.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Services — text, design, code, visual identity, the LMA name and mark, the LMA Intelligence and Zayd brands, the case studies, and the methodologies embedded in the internal platform — is the intellectual property of LMA, protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and, for internal professional use, quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy, republish, modify, or reverse-engineer the Services without LMA’s prior written consent.
7. Third-party content and links
The Services may link to third-party websites or reference third-party institutions (for example, regulators, lenders, or service providers). LMA does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their content, practices, or terms. Inclusion of a third-party reference does not imply endorsement.
8. Forward-looking and market commentary
Insights, case studies, and any commentary on regulatory frameworks or lender appetite reflect LMA’s view at the date of publication. Markets and regulations change. LMA does not undertake to update any piece of commentary as circumstances evolve, and no reader should act on any commentary without seeking professional advice specific to their situation.
9. No warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LMA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LMA, its partners, advisors, employees, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Services, including any reliance placed on AI-generated content or any action taken on the basis of information on the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be lawfully limited.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services, to related systems, or to passphrases or credentials.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Use the Services, the Zayd chat, or the LMA Intelligence platform in a manner that is abusive, deceptive, or designed to circumvent rate limits or moderation.
- Scrape, mass-download, or systematically extract content from the Services for commercial or competitive purposes without LMA’s prior written consent.
12. Suspension and termination
LMA may suspend or revoke access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, where it believes these Terms have been breached, where continued access is inconsistent with applicable law or professional obligations, or where required for security.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any mandatory local law to the contrary, the courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, and you irrevocably submit to that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
